POINTVIEW RESERVIOR IN WAYNE

You can get day passes from the JERSEY CITY WATER COMMISH for shore fishing. It used to a golf course but they flooded it to create the reservoir.

Used to fish it as a kid thru college days. Used to kill the GIANT LM in there on top water @ night (jitterbugs). Not deep, most of it is shallow enough to wade & fly fish. There are pike in there too.

Probably the biggest under fished gem in north Jersey.
