Congratulations, it's a significant accomplishment. My family has 3 generation of Eagle Scouts. My Father, both my brother and myself and 3 of my nephews.
Make sure you tell him to always list that on his resume. I've hired hundreds of people over the course of my career and with that listed on a resume, it automatically goes to the top of the pile.

Very impressive Steve as that is truly a great accomplishment. Full Scholrship is not bad eather. Now for the real question that will lead to his future success. Can he catch a blackfish
