Andy: have u ever tried nite fishing at RV in early spring..Especially if u can get some herring early..In NY state we catch browns under laterns at nite but only until water temp warms..Theres plenty of food down deep when water warms, no need for the trout to come up..Many cold nites up there in spring time..Even frost on the boat..But fish really hit..Dress warm and give it a try next season..
