thanks, some places are a little confusing down there as far as where you can fish or not or where you can be at night or not. there are a lot of signs everywhere with a lot of different rules and times on them. the area i tried last year in wildwood area was way too shallow for way too far, i couldn't really even clear the breakers with my casts. I'll def be heading down to the capemay area instead this time around.

I've also had bad luck trying for surf sharks until last summer,few things I learned was water temp 70 and above is key, forget the bunker or any other type of fish..... catch eels the big ones that are about 3"-4" round and chunk them. I've had multiple hook up nights using eels and lost a few that spooled 300 yards of line on me.4' to 5' Brownies are all over in august but the big sandbar sharks get up to 8'.Low or high tide has not made a difference either just find the cuts.
