I was on my way into Keyport on Sunday and past a boater in distress. I threw them a line and towed them to the municipal ramp (where they started). Karma baby.

Great job by the Capt of the J2. Hey guys give him a break as they say sh*t happens. Been towed in a couple times in my day
 blown drive twice etc. i also towed a few in as well. That's the great part about our sport almost all the people boat follow the unwritten rule of helping a boat in distress. I will bet anything that want happen again to him, we live we learn. Glad every one is home safe.

Just to play devils advocate here....what are the legal issues involved if being a good Samaritan goes wrong?
I've helped my fair share of boaters and have been helped myself many times over. Just had me thinking after seeing one "sue everybody" attorney commercial after another on tv.
