Default Keyport Seahawk night fishing

So we decided to try a night bite for stripers this weekend. got out to a nice clam bed spot and set up shop right before sundown. Nothing for a while by around 9pm had the first bass in the boat, just short 27.5"! Had some decent action till around 1am with 10 bass and tons of pops with no hook up both on the reg and bait runners. 2 awesome keeper males at just 29" and 33", perfect scenario to get keepers if you ask me! No eggs spilled!

We dozed off twice and both times after waking found all the bait gone haha. As the sun came up we got back to work but the bite didn't turn back on in that spot. I threw a flounder rig around and hooked another nice, just shorty, bass (great fight on the light gear).

We moved out to a mussel bed closer to the mouth and set up shop again. We had another flurry of action in a short period of time with another small keeper male (perfect!) before it shut off for us for good. ended up with 19 bass (3 keepers) and 2 flounder, one hog at 18.5"!!

will post pictures later today, not working right now for some reason...
