Info is for someone who simply just don't know where to go.
Someone who maybe doesn't want to use the pm function we have or for all the lurkers out there. Being one of them I know that if I would pm any one of you, you would get me the general direction of where I should go. I don't want to use someones sweet spots and would rather establish my own so having of general idea where to go would help me a lot. As far as the crowds and what not. Well I believe you attract what you put out and if that's what you will concentrate on that's pretty much what you will get. Of course I would rather catch something that was raised in a wild rather than stocked but on the other hand I do appreciate the efforts of others that give us opportunity to catch something rather than nothing at all At the end as many of you have put it out there is to each its own. If you have access to any road maps on your phone app or by using a gps, just follow the roads that parallel or cross the river of your choice. In NJ, it's easy. When you get to a bridge or a spot where the river meets the road, look for the stocking signs and the rest is up to you. As for the lakes, do the same thing. There are no secret spots, only places where fishermen who have spent years fishing in the area know like the backs of their hands. Some of them are off the beaten track but you'll have to do the legwork on your own to find one for yourself. Of course there is no secret spot on the major streams. At 5 P.M. they are packed. Check the stocking schedule or the Trout Hotline if you want to know when the streams with no closures will be stocked.
