Thanks, yeah I bought it for a few reasons. I kind of figured it wouldn't be good but then again I wasn't planning on using it for tog. Was just going to spool up some abu's for bottom fishing. I really liked the different colors they offered. But, I did expect to be stronger than at least half it advertised strength. The thing that's really got me bother is is not the money I spent, which was cheap to begin with. It's the fact that I performed the test I described above and I have the manufacturer telling me that my back yard test is no way to test their line. Yet, using the same test yesterday, I tested my diamond braid and it broke right at the listed strength.
Anyway, they want to send me 2 more spools. Not sure if I even want to bother dealing with them anymore. I know my test were as accurate if not within ounces of whatever type of expensive machine they are using. Was a real learning experience. Thanks for all your imput everyone.............

Maybe this is a dumb question but how in the world can a brand new line not frayed at all break on the main line rather than at a loop knot?

I bought some of the cheap china stuff from ebay and fished it this year for tog. I did not have a single problem with it. I tested it against pp 50 and it was equal, right at the end of what I could break. Mates complained that they had a hard time breaking it off when I got stuck. Guess I just got lucky picking the right one, but $30 for 1000 meters can't be beat.
