The molds are made out of rtv silicone. It comes in two parts and you mix it by weight and pour it around the original. The hard part for those swimbaits is I had to do it in sections and build a little clay holder for it because of its fragile shape. Then I cut a cross section on the tail so it comes out near perfect almost every time.
The plastic is plastisol and I mix it with a softener (in this case) and I threw in a bunch of salt and some herring sent too. Put glitter or whatever in the mold and pour it in hot from the microwave.
