Here is some unsolicited jigging advice. I have done very well this year with a small perch colored jiggin rap tipped with a shiner head or small strip of bait.

Esox..........start moving shallow, use a swedish pimple/small spoon w a fathead "head" or some meal worms/mousies. The eyes and perch are about to spawn, we banged a bunch of fatties in 6-8 fow but u need weeds nearby or find a open spot in the weeds and jig there, u will catch them and they are aggressive.

You have to tip the jig with something number one I agree, it can never hurt as long as it's not too big of a chunk to mess the lures action.

Thanks fellaz. I actually have all these minus the pimple but will cop one soon. I'll def be putting this info to good use and hopefully jig something up. Thanks.
