I run a strikemaster 8.25" w chipper blades and it cuts like nothing and the blades dont dull like straight blades do in dirty ice, thats a consideration depending on where you fish. weight is also a big deal

I have the 33cc stingray. A few minor issues but awesome customer service and a light machine to carry around. I'd buy it again if I had the option.

I have the 33cc, 8inch Stingray as well.. As an entry level machine I highly recommend it.. I've had minor issues as well (bad fuel lines, recoil start etc) but Eskimo is made by Ardisam which is a major manufacturer of small engine garden supplies, making replacement parts easy to find.. Customer service is awesome.. Only issue I found, I shouldn't have rushed and bought a 10 inch.... Glenn's Army Navy and Mills Fleet Farm have the 33cc for $279, no tax or shipping.. Good luck

My strike master is a single angled blade, I have never sharpened it in over thirty years and it's still as sharp as the day I bought it. It has literally cut thousands of holes
