Great report sir! You always remember the one that got away, no doubt! But that is a beautiful mixed bag you got right there. I love the slab Crappie. With the weather the way it is we'll be on the ice til opening day of Trout season. Way to make a comeback after losing a nice 'Brid!!! Yea boyeeeeeeeee!

Well I've lost a big pike, a big pickerel, and a big striper at the hole so far and those visions are pretty etched in my mind haha. I do like ice fishing but that damn 8" hole at the end of the fight is really starting to piss me off! Hahaha

The hybrid hit in 20ft of water but the bait was at 15ft. Those things seem like solo wandering nomads in the winter...I may have just gotten lucky with that hook up idk, I set up shop around that hole and that very hole produced almost all of my big fish for the day except the jigged crappie and gill, but no other hybrids
