Torpedos away. Wish it would have fought just a little bit. Felt like a piece of a wreck.

GREAT FREAKING TIME!!!
Thanks to those who put this together and congrats to all who advance to the Mimi especially MVP with a nice batch of Tog and a #10.

Dales and I were in the bow today and we did our best to make sure the dogs stayed on the endangered species list The Capt and mate kept urging me to skate to the areas that had consistent action but the laughs were just too damn good to walk away from! Thanks guys, I'm sitting here thinking about some of the stuff that went on and I'm loosing it all over again. Just a great freaking day!

Sorry Tax, stayed south last night, didn't go home... Have to hide the dogs as we speak or the wife will have them up my arse this night for taking up the square footage in da fridge!

Rookie out on his first PUOSU trip here. Glad I was able to go, knew it would be a great time as I've fished with many of you before. Capt Bobby, Mike and Jeff worked their tails off to keep us in the water, weeding through the dogfish and netting keepers all day (and then some extra with the tangles). Bobby's going to need to draw on his diving skills now to go retrieve a couple of anchors ( that sucked ). Gerry Z and I gave it our best on the team competition with 8 fish total but Blackfish Bobby is a master at this fishing and showed us all how it's done again. Congrats to the leaders with the big fish on the board and Alex with the double digit slob and I hear release. PA Beer guy- nice offerings you brought, Golden Monkey all the way!! Gerry Avenel Ale not bad either. Wished conditions would have changed with just a little more wind but hey, ended the day with 5 for the table and shared a few fillets with my shark tournament brother Mr Dales. Nice job Gerry and crew for running this!

Thanks to Yong for the great Jigging World hats and visors. Our PUOSU trip became official when it started to snow flurry Bow bite never really developed today - it was more like the bow-wow bite No real surprises for those moving onto round 2 next week on Mimi, except for a notable non-qualifier Looking fwd to doing it again next week in less favorable conditions

Gerry thanks for inviting me to photograph this hot mess

It was a good time for me and the weather was balmy in comparison to last years trip.

Glad I was not fishing... the only guy that might out hack me would be the Taxman.

Happy Holidays to all

It was my first PUOSU and I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in organizing it and thanks to all the people who donated the raffle prizes. As always, a great job by Capt. Bobby and crew. It was nice to meet the people behind the screen names. I fished between Jimmy and Mike most of the day. Thanks for the laughs.
