Thanks guys,
Zach, I know man you pretty much own Round Valley. Your reports and insight are the things that keeps me trying to figure that place out. Keep them coming. Ryan, You know I have love/hate relationship with Farrington. Went to HS in East Brunswick so it was a place to go. Only thing I can say I never left that place without a fish and since water is low kinda giving me more insight on where they be hiding. Now all I need is to find where those bass be hiding besides the Riva bridge hole. Andre |

You mean at riva and church. Is that why those old guys are always there whenever I launch? Ive never seen them catch anything except almost me a couple times when im coming back from the other side (even when I give a heads up) they barely hold theyre line in the water so I figured they were just messing for sunnies and staying away from their wives lol..as for the lake, we have a love hate relationship too. I hate it and it loves to keep me coming back lol

Nice fish man. I'm pretty sure that's a white catfish. I caught a monstrosity of a white kitty out of Farrington when I used to live down there. The state record was caught just down the road at the Dallenbach Pond's. Anyone have any thoughts about the fish ID?

I could be wrong though. Was too happy about the pickerel since its like the second one of the decent size that I pulled out from there. Andre |

Nice job Andrushkin.
I fished it from boat today and it was pickerel and perch fest hitting jerks. Couldn't buy a bass bite. Water was up from a couple of weeks ago. |

Looks like a White Cat to me, judging from the tail not being deeply forked like Channels have. Didn't really notice it at first though

I would have to see the shape of the nose to make a confident ID, but judging by that tail, it could very well be a large White Bullhead Catfish. ![]()

Eskimo,
Sorry I did not take a better picture. I took a bunch but only the one I posted came out better the others. But as far as doing some research on the subject, I can pretty much stake a case of anyones favorite brew on the fact that it was a white catfish. Like mentioned one thing that threw me off is the fact that fish was hooked at night so I never gave a doubt that it was a channel cat. Thanks to all for pointing out. Andre |
