I have noticed some produce better for smallmouth and some better for largemouth. Some of my favorites are the Strike King KVD Shim-E-Stick, Strike King Zero, Wave Worm Tiki Sticks, Northland Tackle Dipstick.

Favorite Color Havoc Flat Dawg is Watermelon Silver Red.

Noticed the cinnamon colors and bluegill colors produce better for largemouth
and all the green pumpkins and watermelons produce best for smallmouth.

One trick I like to do is dip the tip in Spike It Dip-N-Glow either chartreuse or red.

The green pumpkin chartreuse tip Yum Dinger is killer on smallies.

Haven't bought a pack of Yamamotos in years.

My experience with LM vs. SM using stick and/or tube is that....

If I missed the LM on the first bite or lose them while reeling in, I normally don't catch that LM again.

If I missed the SM on the first bite or lose them reeling in, I will normally catch them by throwing the stick or the tube at the same location. Smallie will hit it over and over again.

Smallie - dumb yet I absolutely love them for the fight.

I've used the Bass Pro Shops Sticko for years...work great...more resilient than Senkos or dingers...and the best price around. 20 for 5.99 5" or 4". I also use there 6 inch which are huge in the spring and they seem to trigger them when the smaller sizes are not working...and you can freakin spool yourself on a cast (exaggeration yes but you get the point)

They even go on sale periodically and you can stock up...last time I think I paid 3.99 for 20.

Green Pumpkin just works so well I don't switch up much but I do use Black with Blue Flake if for some reason it isn't working. That has made a difference quite a few times...usually earlier in the season for some reason.

I don't like that they are not made in the USA and that you can't buy them from local bait shops...which i always try to do...but like others have said you burn through these baits pretty good and this a pretty hard deal to pass up.
