I've been at RV 3 days a week for the past month. All during the week and have been catching lakers and bows every trip, it's been an early bite and shuts off by 11. For me anyway, only a couple boats out there go early like sunrise. Catchem up

I love RV as a quick weekend getaway. Thanks for the reminder. Gotta book a campsite soon for a long weekend.

I live about 10 minutes away from the Valley but haven't camped there yet. Do you guys usually access the campsites by boat? A long time ago when I called the office to ask about camping access they told me that only certain sites are for boat access. Kind of strange since most sites are within 10-20 yards of the shore as far as I can tell. Do they fill up quickly?

U can pull lakers anytime of the day at the valley, U need a set of cowbells in front of a spoon and bowmounted sonar. Just troll 5' up from the bottom and adjust ur rod and downrigger to follow the contour. Usually run a few rods up higher that need less attention for bows and higher lakers, but If you concentrate on at least 1 rod/rigger down deep they will hit all day long. They fight like wet towels from the depths, when u catch them shallow or up high they fight pretty nice. The big one I got from MC fought like a little wiper, 40fow, I was impressed
