I only use 6" grub with 5/0 bait holder threaded all the way to where the body meets the tail.

I use 6" grubs and swimming mullets ..... 4" shrimps work too

Agree w/ hammer4reel. Depends on what they are feeding on. Also when all else fails I will go to shrimp.
