Sea Bands are a product you can get at most pharmacies. They are elasticized wristlets with an embedded bead. The bead presses on a specific point on the inside of your wrist. I guess this is an acupuncture concept. It may be hard to believe, but they work. And, of course, nothing is taken internally.

A friend of mine uses Triptone - finds it works better than the rest of the drugs mentioned.

Personally, I conquered sea sickness (it was a problem for me for many years) by doing Puma exercises. Look up the Puma Method - it's a video series of head and neck exercises that you do for 15 minutes a day for a week and it re-establishes your inner ear equilibrium. It worked wonders for me - don't have to take ANYTHING any more for motion sickness.

YouTube - short demonstration of exercises

I hope this works for some people as much as it has for me. ALSO - if you have a problem with sea sickness and you get to the point of nausea - I have a great method to prevent vomiting - All party boat captains should learn this one - - - Let me know if there's any interest.

24 hr Bonine is the way to go. If that does not work have her bite the head off a dogfish. I seen guy on boat do this and he showed no signs of seasickness.

Watched a TV show(not sponsored). Had 3 victims. After testing many remedies, best was ginger. take 3 the 2days before and morning of trip take 2 tablets. One guy got sick right away on spinning chair. After ginger he lasted the longest. Least invasive remedy!

Bonine the night before for sure. Motion-ease does not hurt, I tried it on a wicked rough canyon tune trip but still could not hold down water. Benefit was that even 60lb class fish felt like big eyes as I had the strength of a 10 year old.

Usually a few brews and I nice Italian hero with hot peppers does the job though!

Bonine by far the best. One of the side effects of Dramamine is nausea. WTF
