Yea, gotta agree was definitely a good day, wasn't expecting much other than being beat to crap and a wet azz but the weather cooperated for the most part and gave us quite fishable conditions for the better part of the trip. I haven't experienced fog that thick in quite some time. We had a good laugh when I said to Jeremy, I have absolutely NO IDEA where we are!!!! But we prevailed and put together quite a nice catch and missed a few as well as breaking one off in some structure. That fish that came up at the boat was quite hilarious and amazing at the same time. Huge boil and noise not once but twice! Highlight was his brown for sure, anybody who has ever fished with me knows there's always some kind of entertainment. So as he has this big fish on and engaged in mortal combat I'm clearing lines and wrap a line and herring around his line and pole!!! He's yelling CUT THE LINE! CUT THE LINE!!! and as I'm digging for the snips Jeremy gnaws the line like an ANGRY BEAVER!!! He played that fish like a pro!!! Plenty of high fives and big smiles after that one. I think we make a pretty good team and have to thank him for being the driving force to get us up there and on those fish!
