NICE pike ! Don't feel like the Passaic is the only place to get pike, Spruce Run off the shoreline in April can be great.
You got the Millstone and Pompton rivers also.
Budd Lake, Cranberry Lake, Farrington Lake, and Pompton Lake just to name a few also.

Niiiice Rob. Good stuff. After the rain and water settles I might have to make a trip up to where I normally fish on PR. Good to see theyre responding... I dunno if its the pic but that fish looks huge! Great color too.

Nice fish Rob! Anyone know why they don't stock them in monksville? It seems like that north side would be good habitat from why I understand of pike.

Pike are considered a nuisance fish in many states and countries. They can over-populate a lake and decimate native gamefish pops. There are cases of state agenices having to poison lakes to get rid of them. They gotta be careful where they stock them. Natural reproduction in NJ is rare so thats the only reason they aren't a problem fish...yet.
