What would be great is if all the Atlantic Highlands party boats went over to the NY side everyday. I think that would get some attention.

I rarely saw N.Y. boats fishing in N.J. for fluke. Maybe an occasional PB but very few privates except in Ambrose. The size and bag limits on the N.Y. guys have been extremely severe. Imagine if it was us! The N.Y. guys were in the same mess as we were/are. The NMFS dictated their regulations with the same flawed data that they used to dictate ours. Don't take it out on the N.Y. guys. They went through a lot and still managed to keep their heads and catch keeper N.Y. fish during it all. It's an even playing field now. If they catch fish in N.J. waters it counts against their quotas. If we catch them in N.Y. waters, it counts against ours. this is not a contest between two states. It should be a bond between two neighbors who have a common interest for laws that are sound and sensible for everyone. One last thing.......the N.Y guys seem to have managed to keep the bunker boats out of their side of the Raritan which has helped us to a degree even though we don't have the same luxury.

I don't believe much of this was directed to the NY anglers in general as much as it was one individual who chose to rub $h!t in our faces and constantly negative....my .02
