It's always great to see a kid having fun fishing. That's a big pickerel. Pickerel are notorious line-cutters. They have a set of teeth like a pair of scissors. If you look at them closely, you'll see they form in rows like shark teeth.

I like to see stuff like this because it reminds me of my childhood when I first started fishing 43 years ago.....You know the old saying...Take a Kid Fishin and he's hooked for life........Great job, your son looks happy as can be......Nice slime for his first fish!!!
