10-12 lb flourocarbon, the trilene pro grade in gold box casts good on spinning, so does the suffix castable floro. For leader spend the money and get seguar 8lb floro, its a tiny little spool and pricey, but its smaller diameter than normal, I swear by the stuff. The 10lb seguar is smaller diameter than my 14lb vanish, as said fish are very line shy.

12 lb main line for the SALMONOIDS. 10 lb main line for the Trout with a 6-8 lb fluoro leader. P-line CSSX in the green box is some strong ass line. I use Suffix alot as well. Keep it light!!!

Thanks for all the line help guys, it's been awhile since I have been up there.....12 # seems a bit light for these monsters but I'll take your word...Now I have 2 rods both Ugly Sticks.....A 7'MH and an 8'6M....WHich is going to be a better choice...I'd much rather use athe 7' Rod.....If you can help me with this decision , I appreciate it...thanks in advance
