Departure time keeps getting pushed back due to wind. Capt doesn't seem so into it and I'm not rescheduling. Hoping for some luck but I won't try this again. Ontario weather is to erratic .keeping fingers crossed.

Yea dunno if I'll book another charter, weathers too temperamental. Plus my cabin is near the river so I don't need it that bad.

Since you have a place to stay that's close you could always just try a last minute booking...like call a day or two before after you are already in the area and when you know the weather is going to be OK. I've had a lot of succes doing that in all kinds of places. Just an option.

Might be a blessing in disguise Seth. Use the time to explore the river a bit. Probably a good chance to look around before there are people in every square yard of that place, and catch a few fish in the process.

Yea I was bummed, Oswego weather is insane. Stopped at fat Nancy's and the guy WS real helpful. Checked out sportsman hole at a beautiful stretch, actually saw a fish jump I think was a smallie or small trout. I'll be back in a week or so.
