BOUNTY HUNTER - Seabass Reports for July 7th & 8th.

Not much to report from the Seabass scene. Fishing has been very slow and charters have had to work hard for every fish. On Sunday we had the Hal Finley group on board. Along with Hal we had Bill and Barry. Our first two fish of the day were a Ling and a Whiting. That was a sign of what was about to come. We called it a day before Noon and headed back with 18 Seabass and 20 Ling in the box. We read fish on every stop but unfortunately none were ready to bite.

On Monday Paul ran an Open Boat Seabass trip. On board we had Tim, Carmine, Barry, Bob, Louis and Richard. You could not ask for better weather and ideal fishing conditions but even with everything in our favor the Seabass drought continues. Paul made several moves and read life on almost all stops. The guy's would boat a couple of Seabass and it was over and we moved on to the next piece. All the guy's gave it their best and at the end of the day there were 35 fish in the box. A third of what it should be.
