Yup still in Monmouth. Fishing one of the very first ponds I ever bass fished after a 20 year hiatus there. As for killies, they got the fish out of the grass. Lures were producing one fish days, but the killies got them fired up.

I didn't know killies would survive in freshwater, that's very interesting.

Plus you can cast and retrieve them at least 10 times before they die on you. They are an important baitfish in a lot of coastal freshwater areas.
