Default manasquan river gas prices

dont want to stir the pot but just want a few opinions and this is def the place to get them. dropped the boat in the water friday and didnt fuel up before going in, by myself and just spaced it. crystal point is 2 weeks away, ran past hoffmans and i know they are a sponser but is it right to charge the same for diesel and gas? the price was 4.29 for both. i know its been hard on everyone this winter after the storm but i found it a lil insulting that they would charge a $1.00 premium over what it is on land. fishermans suply is open and one or 2 more but i was a lil irked by this. dont get me wrong i am all for making a buck and full on capitalism but i know where i wont be getting fuel once the other pumps are up and running. we all took a hit this year not just the marinas, take it easy on guys, we are hurting too.

In my opinion Diesel and gas should never be the same on the water.....or anywhere else for that matter. Diesel is a less refined product and on the water is not subject to DOT tax..... it should be much less then gas in my eyes. But what the hell do I know
