Default Re: Flounder Rpts.

Different philosophies abound.

Many fish to be on water and catch fish. Having dinner in your cooler is not the PRIMARY goal. The catch limit is secondary. Even just 2.

I fish off the tow boat dozens of days becasue I like to fish. Caught 100's of striper, fluke, bluefish, seabass, porgies, flunder, and junk fish. But VERY few are kept.

People fish to get out ( and away from the old lady in many cases). It's the sport. The limits may stink.. but real fisherman still go out even to throw back 10 keepers.

And seriously you cant justify the cost to catch the fish ever. Even the gas to drive to the water (to fish) would pay for the fish 3-5x over at your local fish market. That's before bait, boat, and tackle needed.

So the guy has a legit question even for just 2 fish. That would make a single sandwich (the way I make them) for me. .
