![]() I usually use 20-30#. That way the braid is stromger than your leader and if you do get atuck and have to break off the leader breaks instead of the braid.

Im not a fan of the uni to uni.. the profile is to large and some times has issues passing threw the guides.. I only use the albright knot to tie my leader/jig rig to my main line braid.. The albright has such a small profile it goes threw anything and very very strong!

![]() The lighter the line the less weight you will need to hold bottom
I use 15lb and will hold with 4oz when my buddy fishing 40 or 50lb needs 8oz I also use no terminal tackle all line to line knots 3' 30lb fluro leader |
