I am fishing a n/s private charter this weekend based out of the Mtk marine basin on west lake drive.
Heading down Friday afternoon and making my stop a stop at the Town Line for some bbq and a beer. Can anyone recomend a clean affordable hotel near this boat? Last winter when we went down most hotels were still closed. Thanks. |

Try the sail inn or Kenny's Tipperary. There is always gurneys as well.
Nice call stopping at the TLBBQ.

We haven't been out there in the past 3 years but, before the we went once or twice a year for 6 years. We stayed at Harborside. It's about a block from the Blue Fin IV and Viking Fleet. Across the street I remember a neat "locals" bar named "Liar's Saloon". The owner was a sweethearted Brazilian woman who remembered us from year to year. Definitely not 5 star but, clean and affordable and close to the dock.
