![]() I would recommend 7'6" to 8' for party boat, and 7' to 7'6" for charter or private. Kevin builds great rods!

![]() PA beer guy, I think the 7' would be fine, but as the others say the longer rod will give the jig a greater sweep range. The most important feature is "Medium Taper" and the "slow load" of eglass. You will lose less fish.
