Default Re: Spro jig hook debate

We all know I am a big fan of OMT because of this very "hook" reason. But, to put feedback from our customers into play here: black nickle is their favorite!!

In addition to being the sharpest hook around, it handles sme big fish well. I have personally caught bluefin up to 68# on a 6oz OMT guppy jig. While being thin, it handled several fish one day...all 59#-68# class.

I have plenty of customers who also like this black nickle hook on larger jgs of 16oz - 20oz for trolling bass, fluke in 100' of water too. Allws them to use a heavier jig, without that big 8/0 hook we usually see.

Just a lil feedback as a whole, I know personal pref will over ride this for some guys. You come up with some great colors already Kevin, so IMO, THE BLACK NICKLE WILL ONLY IMPROVE YOUR JIGS! great topic .......
