Default Re: Micro Guides or Standard????

I agree with Garone.

We have always used more, when it comes to our rods. The problem with using more guides has always been the weight you add to the blank, which will cause some issues. Micro Guides are lighter, so you dont see as much of a problem. You are not limited to Micro Guides though, depending on the rod your building. You may be able to add more guides, depending on the type of blank your using.

Look up Fuji Concept Spacing, to see some more images, videos and charts about how more guides can be better. I know many guys feel less guides cause less resistance, but if you lay the rod out correctly, you will see some BIG advantages to using more guides! I still say the best rod you can find is an "Inline rod" where the line is actually inside of the blank and allows the blank to do 100% of the work. But, these rods never took off and were quickly discontinued, except for Sabiki Bait Rods.
