Leif, as always your work looks great. I like the swivel idea. I assume it is inteneded to keep the teaser from "fouling" "twisting"?
You can buy clear nail polish for about $1-2 per bottle at any pharmacy. When you do the underwrap on the shank for the base, you can apply a small amount of polish as you add colors/materials to make the teaser more durable.
As Snapper adds, if you use an epoxy top coat, it will last a long time.

Keith, Thanks. To get the wraps to look good(not too big and bulky)

Cut the hair/fibers on an angle before you tie it in. Lightly wrap the thicker part first and wrap toward the eye. Then wrap the thread tightly. This will give you a smaller tapered wrap.
