PB Perch 11/12

Hit the river for a bit today. Had some new clearance rack lures I wanted to get wet. Also decided to hit the bait shop too, just in case. Must be slow lately cause she was extremely liberal with the shiners, lol......... Think I got at least a free dozen.

First hour was slow, then we found some action with a school of perch. Constant action for a half hour with a few lunkers and possible pb. Once that ended, it was skunk only for the rest of the day. Nice to have a decent tug on the line though.......

nice pics... can't wait to start poppin em through the ice.... me and keith hit the river too... threw everything at em... had several solid hook sets of the lumber variety... only pulled in one small pike... thanks to the folks slowed up to motor by our canoe... was real happy not to have it swamped.

Thanx guys. It's the Passaic (parts unknown, lol). Forgot to mention too, saw a couple guys out there catchin, and keeping a couple carp.

i wouldn't.

you can look up what is safe to consume from the bodies of water you fish at the state's fish advisory website http://www.state.nj.us/dep/dsr/fisha...ps/passaic.htm
