Default Re: Sandy, Warm water, and climate change

I think the volcano comment is proof positive that humans can change the climate. After a major eruption the earth cools for a while (months at least) due to particulates filtering out some of the energy from the sun.

As for trends, yes they exist but not as quickly as they have been in recent history, usually depends o. How you draw you line of best fit. And even if we have little effect on climate, is it a bad idea to conserve energy or look for cleaner energy that will clear oceans and produce more fish?

I have at diesel boat that loves fuel, so where I can I sacrifice to conserve energy- warm house in summer, cold house in winter and small crappy cars that get good gas mileage.

Not political, just cheap, and it makes sense to conserve energy for whatever reason.
