Default Re: Draining Hopatcong- any truth ?

partially true andy........they did open up the damn to let some additional water out, but I went by there on my way home sat morn and talked to some guys fishin the musky after Laurie at Dows told me about the water level change. They didnt see or hear of anything in the river. I do know for a fact that when we get big storms and high water they do go over the damn into the musky lake. Years ago my buddy was nailing hybrids out back of the lake like crazy, and they prob went down as yearlings in the current and grew up in the weedy musky. If anything is actually in there stuck between pools after this rain its gonna be right into the lake, maybe it'll be actually good to fish next year LOL........
