Default Re: Today at the Gorge

Recently decent amounts of young of the year native rainbows have been found in the gorge....I wish this water would become year round NO KILL...New native trout, means stockies succesfully spawning....Native browns have been a fixture for years but good numbers of native rainbows is a super promising thing...Nature will find a way, anglers and regulations just have to give mother nature a fighting chance to replenish herself....Proper handling of released fish would also make a HUGE difference....

If more everyday anglers thought about our fishing resources future instead of living in the NOW, our fisheries would flurish beyond our dreams.....

Stronger regulations would help but stronger enforcement would guarantee a better future for this (in my opinoin) struggling natural resource...

Just my 200 cents
