fished from 9-1 yesterday w my girl. first time she was on the newest boat w me. Pulled spoons behind flashers in 85-125 FOW. Got 2 rainbows 16" + 17" and one decent laker just over 20" that fought well staying deep. Nailed him at 80feet the others 60-70. was nice to test out the kicker and downriggers everything worked except the scotty releases and stackers. None of the fish pulled enuff to free the line even though I had them barely in the clips. Gonna have to get some xtra light releases otherwise nice little cruise on crystal clear water. Could see my flashers running 45-50 down at one point!

I went out to RV on 9/2 for only the second time this year. My wife accidentally??? put my fish finder outside over the winter in a bucket....needless to say it doesnt work anymore. I fished the pines and the back of the lake, caught 0 and missed 2 trout about 40-50 ft and one on the bottom, down in im guesssing 70-90 ft of water. Used shiners and drifting. Caught several small smallmouths 11'' or less near north dam. Im glad someone caught something there this weekend, it was SLOWWWWW
