Mike, it is just pointing down in this photo. The hook is attached to a swivel. This allowws the bait, or grub lure to spin freel with more action.

Looks awesome. I made a similar color combo but was going with something else. But the top color changed in the oven and is identical to your jig. Are you powder coating these? If so did you start with a different color than the orange?

Mako, sorry, I cant reveal the process. Most guys that use powder coating are satisfied with the results.

Lol. No way was I trying to get yor secrets. I had read on one of your other posts that you use a paint. But your nuclear chicken jig looks just like mine with the powder coat that I used. You and the other sponsers give me inspiration. TY...

Mako, I like a lot of the stuff you come up with. I dont have many secrets, and I dont mind giving hints, but somethings I have to keep to myself.
We have a "metallic clear process " that I developed and wouldnt let the cat out of the bag on that either. Powders are a good process, ours are a bit more involved. |
