![]() When using a uni knot you have to wrap 11-12 turns not 6-7 like mono. Bring the end of the line back thru the 2nd loop and pull tight. You might have to use your fingernail to get it tight. This will never fail.

![]() I believe braid is essential for any bottom fishing over 40 ft. There is no contest as far as sensitivity and hook setting. When fishing deep wrecks and reefs, it is very easy to break off a snagged rig as compared to stretchy mono. I also think Fins is the best. At a fishing show, a vendor selling Fins and other lines told me about the unique manufacturing process Fins uses, which eliminates phantom breakages, which I had experienced with PowerPro. I have been using it on many old outfits and have seen no damage.
