buying a plb

Im planning on buying a ACR aqualink 2882 plb. Does anybody have any thoughts on this model good or bad before i make my purchase.thanks.

I bought the cheaper McMurdo PLB. Fits inside life jacket pouch

If they work - they work. Little else you can really say.

In 5 years we buy new ones or new batteries.
