Looks like a nice day to me....nice multi species bag....I was supposed to fish SR last weekend but got rained out.....sometime this season will do....

Nice!!!! Fished spruce run twice and got the skunk. That was a long time ago though.......

Very Nice. My best days for the hybrids have been in June on herring with slip bobbers 12 feet down in 40 to 60 feet of water when the surface temp was approaching 70. Looks like I should try some new methods

Andy-need to put this one on the to DONE list a few times
While I have only fished SR in the fall, there are great possibilities lurking in the depths. LM, SM, hybrids, pike...fish on!. Have seen some enormous carp there as well and always take the bowfishing gear there just in case I have a good shot at the monsters that are there. The carp there jump out of the water more than any others in the lat summer/early fall. Hoping we have a HOT summer...lower the lake levels and concentrate the fish. Best days have been when the lake is way down....launch from the side...and fish the suspended weeds! |
