Re: Urgent help needed:
It's kind of harsh to insult someone personally for what they believe is an honest effort to protect there water ways. One who wishes to compel an argument should do so with taste and intelligence in place of personal bias. This is after all a fishing forum... I have family stretching west all the way to Colorado and they all agree that gas drilling has had a negative impact on there wildlife. In some instances it has wiped out populations of small animals or poisoned wells. Mostly from the chemicals used to drill and not the actual gas itself. This is first hand knowledge and not from some friggin' news report or documentary! And FYI the only jobs that were actually created by these sites were for existing employee's of the drilling company and not the local population. The EPA has been virtually excluded from the negotiations and ignored simply for what I can only see as striping for profit under the guise of "clean energy reform and reduction in foreign dependence". This will not stimulate the local economy. What a bunch of BS! Drilling in the water shed is a bad idea simply because land and water will never be properly protected and regulated from the dangers of drilling.
