1st outing report

So after scatching watching the guys get out i set out in search of some thick ice. Well after looking around found my poison! Right under my nose in my own back yrd who woulda though unfortunately this pond Dosnt have a great pan fish fishery and mostly just pickerl i pushed on couldnt get where i wanted with some funny looking color ice in my way so stuck to my side of it. Jigged for about 3 hrs with only a few bites that of course i screwed up and missed. Moral of my story is it felt good! hhopefully this weekend dosnt screw to much up i have to do some maintenance at work the next three days or id be out up north. Work screws me again

Good to hear you got out. At least you gave it a shot. Pickeral are scrappy fish. They have some heart. Gotta be panfish in there somewhere!!!
