Last summer i fished all over the place (SH bay, Shark and Manasquan rivers in the yak, and RB in the yak) and the numbers were definitely there at SH and Shark River, but not a lot of keepers. At sandy hook, I'd catch 50+ fluke per day with 2 keepers if i was lucky. But the majority of my fish were between 17 and 17.5 inches, so i wasn't getting dinks. The year before i was getting many more keepers, but the size limit was 17.5 so that's probably why. As for Raritan Bay, that place hasn't been the same since Sandy. I got a few 5+ pound fluke there last summer, but that's about it. I'd either catch a beast or nothing. Granted i was fishing in a kayak so my range was limited, so i'd stick near the keyport sailboats. Hopefully this upcoming summer is better than last, already getting cabin fever lol
