On Friday morning, about 3/4 of a mile off the beach, inside the mile marker bouy, I saw a commotion on the surface about 30 yards in front. Saw bunker jumping out of the water, and got concerned that a whale would breach Suddenly a yellowfin tuna cleared the surface and snapper blues, and bunker scattered in the air The YFT measured about 24 " from dorsal to tail fin. I also saw what I thought was a smaller bluefin tuna but it was only partly out of the water, Game on, we threw plus, but the pack was moving so fast they quickly headed north.
This was a first for me to see pelagics so close to the beach, but when we had our weigh in for the kids tournament yesterday, I heard of spanish mackeral, and other warm water fish caught in shore. Water was 74 degrees there. Catch 'em up,,,,,,,,,,,,Papa

Can't wait to see pictures of the swarm of boats on the channel buoys next few days
