![]() Which reel for Mahi on partyboats? Don't want a baitrunner or too big.
Looking to put it on a Bogan 7' spinning rod. 2 or 3 times a year. Looking at Quatum Boca 40......???? Or Finn Nor Lethal 40..... Any suggestions in that price range..... have to order soon. Want to go Sunday. Meat Hunter..... Get on the Meat, Stay on the Meat, Fry the MEAT!!!! |

![]() 5000 sized reel spooled with 30-40 lb braid should suffice. Good swivels, good fluoro @ 30 lb and good sharp hooks (owners) to go along with it. Pre tie a bunch. Large coil in individual zip locks. If the bite is fast and furious you won't have to dick around tying leaders. Focus on fishing.
