When I spoke with Captain Alan this morning, he reported that fishing started off slow with just a couple of fish. Then, the fish came up on top breaking water and splashing all around with birds working. We got in to them, and at times we had up to 15 fish on at once! By 10:00 a.m., we already had over 30 keeper stripers, including slot fish, and lots of jumbo blues. At the end of the day, we ended up with over 60 keeper stripers, we limited out on the slot fish, and had a lot of jumbo blues. Some had 5-6 blues a piece. Overall, it was an excellent day! Our pool winner was Jim O'Connor from Wood Ridge, NJ.

As long as the fish are here, we are going to continue fishing daily for stripers and blues from 7:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. all through the month of December. Please arrive no later than 6:30 a.m.
