The added "flash" to this style lure has been proven to work, in a few different brands. We have been working on finding the perfect material for a while, ( in our opinion at least) and have managed to get our hands on the stuff we have been looking for....
We can now make any size strips needed, in any width too. The double sided material works perfectly and offers the selected color on the outside, with a "fish skin" silver scale pattern on the underside, to give them a look like NO OTHER lure being made. We have red, blue, gold, silver, green, purple, black, all with the underside silver fish skin pattern. This material is the toughest out there and will not fall apart, rip, or damage. It floats, so it also adds to the action of the hair.
Similar "mylar type material" has been very popular in testing and this stuff beats the hell out of that material. I can pick up a 32oz sinker with a strip only 1/8" wide, ( that should give you an idea of the durability). It will not be ruined from hooking up with a fish.
Having the colors we now have will also improve the success too. Sometimes I spend too much time on the little things like this, but once in a while it pays off. Been looking for at least 3 yrs, so you have to understand why I am happy to offer it.
We are making them in sizes from 1/2oz to 32oz and in just about any color or combination. We offer straight and crimped hair as well. All custom order requests are accepted at no additional cost. Here are a couple cell phone pics, I will have more up later tonight.
